Rosans Girls Shine in Basketball Match Against LGS – Proudly in Their Abayas
This past Thursday, Rosans Islamic School’s basketball team made us all proud as they stepped onto the court for an exciting match against Lahore Grammar School (LGS). What made this game truly special wasn’t just the skill and energy our girls brought — it was that they played with confidence, strength, and grace while wearing the abaya.
More Than Just a Match – A Moment of Pride
The basketball match was filled with excitement from start to finish. Fast passes, sharp teamwork, and determined defense kept the crowd on their feet. The energy on the court was electric — and Rosans girls held their own every step of the way.
More importantly, the game was a powerful display of values we hold dear: modesty, courage, and excellence. Competing in their abayas, our students proved that modesty is not a barrier — in fact, it can be a strength.

Every dribble, pass, and shot was a reminder that our girls can embrace both their faith and athletic talent. Playing in an abaya was not just a uniform choice — it was a statement. One that says:

Although the final score was close, what we gained was far greater — a sense of pride, sisterhood, and resilience.
