Academic Curriculum
Rosans Islamic School prepares children for ‘O’ levels. The medium of instruction is English. Since ‘O’ levels system of education is quite demanding, therefore to meet the standards, the curriculum for the junior classes too has been designed accordingly. The textbooks are selected with utmost care. This whole process develops and successfully prepares the child for O’ levels exams. To facilitate learning, the academic curriculum there are six sections. All sections act as the building blocks for one another.
Examination System
We have the latest checking system at Rosans i.e. Continuous Assessment Tests (C.A.T). There are four (tests) C.A.Ts held throughout a year. The final result is based on the average of all the four tests. The students with a low average in the final result of Maths, English and Sciences have to sit for a retest before being promoted to the next class. For O/L, we follow the GCSE exam pattern. It’s a three year program starting from Grade 9 to 11 O/L. The system used for I.T examination is IGCSE.
